About Planua
The founder's letter behind the product.
From frustrating apartment hunting to building AI virtual staging for real estate teams, architects, and studios.
Hi, I'm Piro.
The idea for Planua started when I was searching for an apartment and kept landing on listings filled with cold, empty room photos. I could not picture how the spaces would feel once they were furnished, and the listings all looked smaller than they probably were in real life.
When I brought that up to friends in real estate, they immediately recognized the problem. Empty apartments are harder to market, harder to price emotionally, and harder to move quickly. At the same time, friends in architecture wanted faster ways to communicate interior vision without spinning up a full rendering workflow.
That overlap became the starting point for Planua: an AI product that helps real estate teams and design professionals turn empty room photos into listing-ready staged interiors with much less friction.
I am building this as a bootstrapped company while studying AI in Business. It is not a side project for me. It is a serious attempt to create leverage, pay down student debt, and build something meaningful for customers who need speed without losing visual quality.
It is also personal. My mother raised my sister and me as a single parent and worked incredibly hard to give us opportunities. Growing this business is part of how I hope to build real independence and give some of that support back.
If you use Planua, you are supporting a product that is still being shaped in public, with direct feedback loops and a founder who reads what customers say. That is the part I love most: the chance to keep improving the product in close contact with the people who use it.
P.S.
If you are a student, a small agency, or an early-stage real estate team and pricing is a blocker, reach out. I would rather find a workable setup than lose the chance to help.
